The Banyan Infotech (“we”, “our”, “us”) owns and operates the SIMTA Sales App (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when the App is used.

b. Location Information

Foreground Location Access

Location data is collected while the App is actively in use to record customer visit locations, capture sales activity locations, and enable geo-location–based attendance marking.

Background Location Access

Location data may be collected while the App is running in the background to track ongoing field sales activities, ensure continuity of visit records, and maintain accurate activity logging during customer interactions.

Location data is collected only for official business purposes and is not used for advertising or marketing.

c. Attendance Data

Geo-location data is used to validate employee presence during attendance marking, prevent false attendance entries, and maintain accurate field attendance records.

d. App Usage Information

This data is used for security, auditing, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.

3. How We Use the Information

We do not use collected data for advertising, profiling, or third-party marketing.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal or location data. Information may be disclosed only to authorized internal teams, when required by law, or to protect company systems and legal interests.

Personal, location, attendance, and usage data is retained only as required for business, HR, legal, and compliance purposes and is archived or deleted when no longer required.

User access to the App is revoked immediately upon relieving from employment or termination of association. Logs, attendance records, and activity data may be retained in accordance with internal HR, legal, and compliance requirements.

The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

9. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party advertising services. Any third-party services used are limited to essential infrastructure and comply with applicable data protection standards.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in operational, legal, or regulatory requirements. Updates will be communicated internally and reflected in the App.
